Are You Saved and Do You KNOW For a Fact that you will reach heaven?
God is our creator and He loves you. He loves you and I so much, that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16 NIV). The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We have all missed the mark. But if we will admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, God is faithful and just to His word with the promise to forgive us and wash us clean from everything wrong that we've ever done! (see 1 John 1:9).
If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, we ask you to do so now. The WORD of God (the Bible) says that when you pray a prayer like the one written below and from your heart, you will experience a new life in Christ. Simply read it aloud and mean it. By meaning it when you are saying it - you are willing to let Jesus change you and you are making a commitment to follow Him. We are all sinners. Even when we make this commitment we still sometimes mess up, but you will have the Holy Spirit living inside of you and guiding you in the right direction. It's a peace beyond all human understanding.
Say This Prayer To Jesus our Lord and Savior:
Father God, I come to You just as I am. I know that you know me even better than I know myself. There is nothing I can do to earn my way into Heaven. I cannot work my way into a right relationship with You. Your word says that we are saved by grace and through our faith as a gift from You. I confess that I have sinned against You and others. I ask You to forgive me and wash me clean with the life-giving blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son. I believe that He died for me—He took my sin upon Himself and died on the cross for our salvation. And I believe that He was raised from the dead, giving me power over the enemy (satan) who is already defeated. Jesus, I ask You to come live inside of me and I want to serve you Lord. I don't understand everything about being a Christian, but I invite You into my life to help me learn through your word and fellowship with other Christians on how I am to live for you. Thank You, Father, for Your gift of transformation in my life as well as eternal life. I am very thankful for Your love and mercy. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
